2020 Jeep Wrangler

The Wrangler is available in three primary trim levels: the Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon. There are several sublevels as well, such as the Sport S, Black and Tan, and Altitude. The Wrangler is highly customizable and offers both two-door and four-door Unlimited models with a soft-top convertible or hardtop, and you'll find plenty of packages and standalone upgrades for each model. The base model comes with removable full-metal doors, a fold-down windshield, skid plates, tow hooks, and 17-inch steel wheels, while other features, like 18-inch wheels and painted exterior body panels, are available. All-terrain tires, off-road equipment, appearance upgrades, military graphics, and tinted windows are also offered.

The Wrangler is available with multiple engines, starting with a 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. There's also a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 mates to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic, while the turbo-four mates exclusively to an eight-speed automatic. Both engines have variants, with a hybrid eTorque system available for Sahara models.

With either engine, the Wrangler has rapid acceleration and smooth handling that belies its truck-like appearance. The ride quality is comfortable and even, ensuring passenger comfort for your daily commute. Born for off-road adventures, all models are available with part-time four-wheel drive. For serious off-roading, you can opt for the Rubicon model. This specialized model comes with off-road tires, heavy-duty axles, short gearing, low-range gearing, lockable differentials, rock rails, and a disconnecting front stabilizer bar for tackling the trails.

True to its roots, the Wrangler has a practical interior with durable, well-constructed accents and a pleasing design. There's a touch of vintage appeal with rounded air vents and chunky knobs and buttons on a squared-off dash. Both models can stow a lot of gear, but you can get a bigger cargo hold in the Unlimited model. Despite its retro design, the Wrangler can be outfitted with advanced technology like the Uconnect infotainment system, navigation, Alpine audio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.

The Wrangler comes with a bevy of standard safety equipment like a high-strength steel frame, a rigid chassis, and an advanced air bag system. There are also numerous advanced safety features available. You can equip the Wrangler with adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlamps, forward-collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring, all of which give you added protection and peace of mind on the road.
